Local Care Force expands offering with new office opening

Social and homecare agency Local Care Force, based in Yorkshire, has expanded its presence with the opening of a new office in Manchester within the city’s Northern Quarter.

Headquartered in Leeds with offices in Sheffield, Local Care Force recently celebrated a successful 10 years and breaking the £10m turnover mark at the end of 2014.

The office will be headed up by Sarah Whitehead with her team of 7 permanent full time staff who look after Lancashire & North West based temporary Nurses , Care Workers & Support Workers.

Local Care Force has grown consistently year on year by 28 - 30 % and its team of over 1200 provides 19,000+ hours per week of care and support to hundreds of vulnerable people across Yorkshire.

The business supplies temporary nursing, support and care staff to care providers and directly to the community, and proudly boasts a perfect Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating for the last seven years.

Leanne Silverwood, director, commented: “I am extremely proud to now have a presence across the Pennines in Manchester. This is the result of lots of hard work and steady and organic growth over the last decade. Demand from existing customers has been high in the area for a while now and so it seemed like the ideal time to set up a new office.

“We have a great team, an incredible space, will be offering training on site as we do in Leeds and are constantly on the lookout for talented nurses, Support workers, carers or people who wish to take their first steps into this rewarding industry.”

Sarah Whitehead, the manager, added: “I am really excited to have opened our doors in the city and business is already doing really well. We have over 140 temporary workers on our books and myself and my team are both excited & prepared for what lies ahead.

Established in 2004, LCF has offices in Leeds and Sheffield. It is the preferred supplier of many large private, public and charitable organisations, providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions including fully trained and specialist qualified Nurses through to Complex health carers. The team offer direct care provision and provide 24 hour care including palliative for those at the end of their lives.
