Local Care Force unlocks North West expansion with new Manchester branch

Care agency Local Care Force, which has offices in Sheffield and Leeds, is launching a new branch in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Space on the ground floor of the newly renovated Sevendale House, a Grade II-listed building, will now serve as a training suite for Local Care Force headed up by Sarah Whitehead and a team of seven full-time members of staff.

Now, the firm has an aggressive expansion strategy in place to match the growth it has experienced in the Yorkshire region.

Leanne Silverwood, the company’s director, said: “I am extremely proud to now have North West presence and to have set up our newest offices in its heart, Manchester.

“This is the result of lots of hard work and steady and organic growth over the last decade. Demand has been high in the area for some time now and so we are confident that this is the ideal time to set up a new branch.”

She added: “We have recruited a great team, sourced an incredible space and will be offering training on site as we do in Leeds and so expect to see the business grow quickly. We are constantly on the lookout for talented nurses, Support workers, carers or people who wish to take their first steps into the profession.”

Since it was established in 2004, Local Care Force has grown by 28% to 30% each year. Today, its team comprises more than 1,200 individuals providing over 19k hours of care and support every week.

Commenting on the launch of the new branch in Manchester, its new manager, Sarah Whitehead, said: “I am really excited to have opened our doors in the city and business is already doing really well. We have over 140 temporary workers on our books and myself and my team are both excited and prepared for what lies ahead.”
