TLJ secures Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel
TLJ Security Systems has installed an electronic locking system at a Scottish Youth Hostels Association (SYHA) hostel in the centre of Edinburgh.
Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel, situated 10-minutes from Edinburgh Waverley train station and two miles from Edinburgh Castle, offers five-star budget accommodation.
Hull-based company TLJ, a leading supplier of smart security solutions for the accommodation industry, has installed its Infinity locking system on 82 doors at Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel.
TLJ Infinity, which utilities RFID contactless key card technology, was installed on doors, including bedrooms, the main entrance, external doors and meeting rooms at the hostel.
Luke Martin, managing director at TLJ, said: “The TLJ Infinity locking system allows greater control over who can access which wing and which room in the hostel.”
“The SYHA chose to upgrade to TLJ Infinity, not only for its comprehensive security and tracking, but because of its ease of installation. TLJ Infinity can easily replace keycard systems that are no longer supported by their manufacturers using existing lock holes, making installation and labour quick and simple.”
TLJ has also recently completed projects at Kingham Hill School in Oxfordshire and at The Orchard, a recently renovated building in Bradford that houses an innovative Salvation Army project.
