Edinburgh business on tee for new arrival
An Edinburgh business is swinging into action, giving golfers the chance to play at the famous St Andrews Golf Club.
Clark Commercials Edinburgh will give a customer a four-ball round to play on the golf club’s finest heathland championship course, The Duke’s.
According to the Bilston van centre, playing at the prestigious St Andrew golf course seemed a fitting honour to mark the arrival of the long-awaited new Volkswagen Transporter and Caddy vans.
Head of business at Clark Commercials Edinburgh, Matt Stewart, said: “This is a very exciting time for our customers and the business as the latest incarnations of the commercial vehicle range have generated a lot of interest.
“We wanted to make the event special so are opening our doors into the evening on Wednesday 9th September, giving customers more time see and test drive the new vans and enter our St Andrews prize draw.”
Both the Transporter and Caddy have received significant design and technology enhancements that include upgraded engines, further safety features and increased levels of comfort.
The distinctive sixth-generation Transporter boasts a sharper and more refined appearance and features and the widest range of engine, transmission and trim level options ever offered by Volkswagen, while the Caddy sets a new benchmark in its class for its safety and convenience innovations.
Matt added: “We will also be launching a new Transporter Shuttle, Caravelle, Caddy Life and Maxi vehicles and are taking orders for the latest California campervan, with deliveries expected before the end of the year.
“We look forward to welcoming both new and existing customers to our celebratory event.”
