Striking legend to kick off Volkswagen event
Football fans will have the chance to score some striking tips from Aberdeen legend Joe Harper at a penalty shoot-out at a Dyce van centre next week.
The famed former goal poacher will launch an event at Clark Commercials Van Centre Aberdeen to mark the arrival of its eagerly awaited new Volkswagen Transporter and Caddy vans, taking place on Thursday 10th September.
Rob McWilliam, head of business at Clark Commercials Van Centre, said: “The arrival of the latest Volkswagen vans has generated a lot of interest so we wanted to kick-off its arrival in a special way - and what could be better than with Aberdeen’s all-time top scorer?”
The distinctive sixth-generation Transporter boasts a sharper and more refined appearance with more efficient engines, a host of safety, comfort and convenience features and the widest range of engine, transmission and trim level options ever offered by Volkswagen.
The Caddy sets a new benchmark in its class for its safety and convenience innovations. New state-of-the-art technology and engine options are set to ensure the fourth-generation model continues the success of its predecessors.
Rob added: “This is a very exciting time for the businesses, as well as the devoted Volkswagen commercial vehicle fans, because we will also be launching a new Transporter Shuttle, Caravelle, Caddy Life and Maxi vehicles and are taking orders for the latest California campervan, with deliveries expected before the end of the year.
“We hope many football and Volkswagen fans will join us for our celebratory event.”
