Manchester United announces partnership with footwear company
Manchester United has struck a new partnership with Sbenu, the Seoul-headquartered footwear company, that will see the brand become the club’s Official Casual Footwear Partner in South Korea.
The deal will give Sbenu exclusive rights for producing and marketing footwear that carries Manchester United branding.
Richard Arnold, the club’s group managing director, said: “Sbenu is a popular brand in Korea and we look forward to seeing the Manchester United crest on their products.
“We are confident these products will be attractive to our 15m South Korean fans.”
Established two years ago, Sbenu now operates 100 stores.
Hyo-Jin Hwang, the CEO of Sbenu, commented: “Sbenu has quickly gained market reputation and became a household name in South Korea for its continued commitment to product and marketing innovation.
“Through our partnership with Manchester United, the world’s biggest football club, we look forward to delivering innovative co-marketing initiatives to the fans to ensure Sbenu stays at the forefront of their mind as South Korea’s leading shoe brand.”
