Aspire rank in prestigious national league table

A LEADING regional IT company has maintained its place in one of the country’s leading barometers of business success.

For the second year running, Gateshead-based Aspire Technology Solutions is in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.

The annual league table, in its 15th year, ranks Britain’s leading 100 private technology companies by looking at the fastest growing sales performances over the last three years.

Aspire, based at the landmark Heworth Hall, has clients throughout the UK and Europe including the Labour Party, Barbour and SAFC. The company’s core services are managed services infrastructure; voice solutions and connectivity.

The league table is sponsored by Hiscox, Barclays, BDO and the Business Growth Fund (BGF) and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm. Typical Tech Track 100 companies are owned and run by entrepreneurs; have between 20 and 200 staff; have an average three-year sales growth of between 40 per cent to 300 per cent and have sales ranging from £5m to £50m. Past Tech Track 100 league table stars include Shazam, Cheapflights, Skyscanner and Ocado.
