Carluccio’s opens on London’s South Bank
London’s South Bank development, NEO Bankside, has welcomed Carluccio’s as the latest addition to the area’s restaurant and retail offers.
The italian restaurant has taken up residence in a 4420 sq ft unit in Pavilion A of the development, directly opposite the Tate Modern.
NEO Bankside, jointly developed by Native Land and Grosvenor and designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, has fast become one of London’s most sought after residential developments.
Carluccio’s is one of a number of restaurant and retail units within the development, joining Prescott & Conran-owned Cafe Albion, situated in Pavilion B of NEO Bankside.
James Henderson, Development Director at Native Land said: “Carluccio’s is a welcome addition to NEO Bankside that will enhance the range of food and beverage available not only to NEO Bankside residents but to many thousands of people that visit the Bankside area each day.”
The 119-cover restaurant was let by NEO Bankside’s retail letting agents Davis Coffer Lyons.
Simon Kossoff, Chairman at Carluccio’s commented: “NEO Bankside is positioned in a thriving area and we’re thrilled to have opened Carluccio’s within the development. Surrounded by businesses, homes and visitor attractions, it is the perfect location to enjoy modern Italian all-day dining.
“Our deli and food shop has a wide range of fresh produce and products to take home, which lends us to the needs of our neighbours. We’ve had a very warm welcome.”
