Construction firm ForWorks nets multi-million pound framework deals
ForWorks, the North West construction company, has landed deals for two multi-million pound frameworks and expanded into North Wales for the first time.
The firm, which provides maintenance and development services, has been appointed to two lots on Liverpool-based Fusion21’s property retrofit framework, which is worth around £100k, as well as three on the Undod £10.95m Welsh Housing Framework.
Work on both will take place over the next four years.
With its Undod appointment, ForWorks is preparing to deliver internal works, doors, windows and soffits projects, as well as repairs for social landlords across Clwyd, North Wales.
Meanwhile, Fusion21’s deal will allow ForWorks to deliver cladding and external wall insulation for housing associations and authorities in the North West and North Wales.
ForWorks’ director, Steve Parrington, said: “Securing five lots on two separate frameworks is the latest in a series of wins that are paving the way for our ambitious growth plans.
“We are very proud that we are now expanding our operations into Wales, as we also continue to develop our reputation working across the North West region.”
Steve added: “These appointments highlight that we have the skills and the expertise to provide a first-class service to both housing associations and other organisations operating in the public sector – helping to transform communities whilst delivering high-quality installation and refurbishment projects.”
In addition to the two latest framework appointments, ForWorks recently secured contracts worth £400k with First Choice Homes Oldham and Liverpool’s Pierhead Housing.
