The accountancy practice on the border of Sheffield and Chesterfield is welcoming Martin Edwards as a director, to secure the future of the firm and serve its growing client base.

He is now undertaking a wide range of duties for business clients and individuals, whilst taking on a practice management role.
Chris Edwards, managing director of Chris Edwards Chartered Accountants, said: “Martin’s decision to work alongside me is a milestone moment for the firm and our family. He is a talented accountant and I am extremely proud of his career so far. I have no doubt that his fresh outlook and ambition will complement the skilled team of professionals who have brought the business to this point and I am looking forward to building on our success together.”

The firm’s clients range from sole traders to large corporations with turnovers up to £10m and it offers a full portfolio of services from statutory and management accounts to bookkeeping and a payroll bureau.
Martin added: “By sharing management responsibilities, Chris and I can spend more time one on one with clients and look to increase our profile locally. I am thoroughly enjoying my new role and learning how my father has grown and developed the business during the past 25 years.”
