Renowned osteopaths Wadsworths celebrate 30 years!

One of Hull and East Yorkshire’s best known osteopathic practices is gearing up to celebrate 30 years of successfully treating patients with a jam packed fun and therapy day on September 29th (Tuesday).

Open to the public between 2-8pm they are sure to be surrounded on their special day by colleagues, clients and curious spectators as they showcase the very best their practice has to offer.

Guests will be treated to talks from popular industry experts followed by ticket only advice and exploratory sessions, which may include massage and acupuncture, before relaxing with some light hearted family entertainment at their Cottingham HQ .

They will also be holding a raffle and quiz with the chance to win some great prizes, with all proceeds going to The Alzheimer’s Society.

Robert Wadsworth and his team are looking forward to seeing faces old and new and although the sessions on the day need to be booked in advance he says no one will be turned away. It will be the perfect opportunity to come along, see what goes on at Holly House and find out a bit more about the health conditions that can be treated.

Holly House is a very popular centre for young and old with patients from babies right through to the very elderly. The speakers at the Open Day are all experienced practitioners in the field of complementary medicine - topics covered include osteopathy for acute severe back pain, yoga, acupuncture, ergonomics, counselling and pregnancy.

Robert, who has personally been at the helm since its fruition, likes to think it’s the personal touch and the family feel to the practice that keeps people coming back.

“I can’t believe I’m standing here today celebrating 30 years of our practice being in existence. It’s in no small part thanks to my colleagues within the industry and practice, close friends who have supported us over the years and of course my patients who I think of more as friends than clients. It’s very humbling and I hope Wadsworths will be here celebrating many more decades of dedicated health care for the people of Hull and East Yorkshire”.

New visitors on the day will enjoy a reduced rate for sessions booked in advance on the day and further reductions for any friends they refer. They will also have the opportunity to take reduced rate cards for fellow practitioners of Wadsworth’s.
