Taylor&Emmet recruits new corporate head
Taylor&Emmet LLP is welcoming a new head of corporate finance and commercial law to strengthen the advice it provides to organisations across Yorkshire.
The Sheffield-based firm has appointed Neil Large as a partner, adding his extensive skills and experience in deal making to its established corporate finance department.
Neil has worked as a corporate solicitor for more than 15 years and joins Taylor&Emmet from a firm in the north east. He will handle all types of transactions, from acquisitions and disposals, including management buy outs/ins, to reorganisations, demergers, spin outs and s110 insolvency act reconstruction schemes. He also brings expertise in start ups, joint ventures, banking, debt and asset finance, venture capital and private equity funding.
Rob Moore, Taylor&Emmet’s head of business legal services, said: “Neil has an impressive reputation for delivering high quality, practical advice and is passionate about providing an excellent service, principles that are at the heart of Taylor&Emmet’s ethos. He is a strong, proactive dealmaker, completing transactions on time and within budget and I have no doubt he will be a valuable addition to the corporate team.”
Taylor&Emmet is further enhancing its corporate team with the appointment of Caroline Thomas, who will be supporting Neil after qualifying as a solicitor this month.
Neil added: “Taylor&Emmet is a young, vibrant, forward thinking firm with a portfolio of good quality corporate clients. Working with such an ambitious and innovative team was a huge draw and I am looking forward to strengthening our position as one of Yorkshire’s leading commercial law firms.”
