Hove nursery operator to create 40 new jobs with Worthing expansion
A Sussex children’s day nursery operator is set to create 40 new jobs as it expands its services to Worthing, thanks to a six-figure funding package provided by The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Due to the success of Home from Home’s first day nursery in Hove, director Nicola Law has acquired a second nursery on Grand Avenue in Worthing, along with co-director and business expert, Julia Hatcher.
Home from Home in Worthing is due to open at the beginning of October and will have the capacity to provide up to 84 children’s places.
A qualified team will complement Nicola and Julia’s skills, comprising of team leaders, practitioners and apprentices. This is forecast to grow to 40 members of staff as the nursery reaches full capacity.
Julia Hatcher, co-director of Home from Home (Worthing), explains: “Nicola has spent 12 years developing a much loved and trusted brand and we feel it is the perfect time to expand with children’s nursery places in demand across Sussex.
“Works are underway and we are excited about opening our doors to welcome new families in Worthing. Without the support of The Royal Bank of Scotland, none of this would have been achievable so we are very grateful for everything they have helped us accomplish.”
Paul Barnes, senior healthcare relationship manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland, added: “Nicola is a well-known individual to the bank who has a proven track record of achieving year on year growth.
“With her educational expertise and Julia’s business acumen, we are confident they will replicate this proven business model in Worthing and have no doubt our investment will help them achieve greater things to come.”
