Manchester law firm Express Solicitors passes £10m income target
A personal injury (PI) law firm in Manchester has passed its target of achieving a £10m income for 2015.
Express Solicitors, which is based on Palatine Road, has reported a 15.4% year-on-year increase in its fee income over the last 12 months. The firm’s year-end figures rose to £10.03m in September 2015, against £8.7m at the same point in 2014.
Over the 12-month period, in which the company handled 6612 cases, Express Solicitors used a £10.06m refinancing package from RBS Corporate to acquire claimant PI files from Stockport-based Ashfields Solicitors.
Express Solicitors has expanded its employee count from 163 to 177 in the last year, including 16 partners and 70 fee earners.
James Maxey, a managing partner with Express Solicitors, said: “I’m delighted by the steady growth of the firm, which is testament to the hard work of all our employees.
“We have put a robust growth strategy in place that see us consistently outperform targets year-on-year; this includes acquiring other personal injury law firms as going concerns, or case loads, with a bespoke line of funding in place to be able to do this at pace if necessary.”
Express Solicitors specialises in accident and personal injury claims, as well as clinical negligence.
