Tax Rebate Services Donates £10k to NSPCC

Carlisle-based accountancy firm Tax Rebate Services have announced that the company has given away almost £10,000 to the NSPCC.

The tax rebate specialists, who first launched 13 years ago, have donated an eye-watering £9649 to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

Janette Drew, the Community Fundraising Manager Cumbria & Lancashire at NSPCC, said: “At the NSPCC we are incredibly grateful for the fantastic support from Tax Rebate services. Since the start of our partnership Tax Rebate services have raised an amazing £9649. The money raised has been used to help support children who are in desperate situations with no one else to turn to. A huge thank you from NSPCC and every child this vital funding has enabled us to help.“

The client base has grown by 35% in the last two years to an all time high, taking the total workforce to nine members of staff, some of which have recently become fully qualified Tax Technicians under the Association of Tax Technicians.

As confidence rises and demand keeps soaring, the business is committed to offering a range of quality accountancy services, and making further donations to the NSPCC.

ChildLine carried out almost 300,000 in-depth direct counselling sessions with children and young people over the last 12 months; and 78p in every £1 raised goes directly to help children.
