Grand 10k Challenge for top North West Businesses

This year’s Club La Santa Grand 10K Run at Aintree Racecourse is looking to the regions businesses to sign up for the Corporate Challenge and be crowned the fastest 10k company in the North West.

The challenge, which takes place this Sunday (20th September), is open to all companies that wish to enter a team of three or more runners, with the first three runners counting towards the challenge itself.

The first team to cross the finish line will not only receive recognition as the champions of the Club La Santa Grand 10K run Corporate Challenge but also receive a trophy for their team.

Race director Graham Jackson said: ‘We’re hoping for another successful year of friendly competition between some of the North West businesses. We believe the corporate challenge is a good way to get businesses involved whether it’s for a bit of fun or light hearted competition! It’s great to see the teams compete together and raise money for their chosen charities’.

Teams already signed up to take part in the Corporate Challenge include Total fitness Aintree and Clive Watkin Partnership.

The race is set entirely within the grounds of Aintree Racecourse, home to the famous Grand National and is set to welcome thousands of runners taking part to raise money for good causes.

This year’s official charity partners are Alder Hey Children’s Charity and Claire House Children’s Hospice, both Merseyside based charities who are dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families.

Runners can also choose to run for their own chosen charities.
