WIRRAL BAZAAR CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY AND £250K OF FUNDRAISING
The organisers of the iconic Wirral Bazaar are celebrating the event’s 25th anniversary with a bumper number of stalls.
This year’s Christmas Bazaar will again take place in the Walled Garden Marquee in the grounds of Thornton Manor in Thornton Hough on 3rd & 4th November.
There will be more stalls than ever before for the expected 2,000 visitors who flock to the annual event as well as refreshments and free parking.
Food stalls will include: smoked salmon, cheeses, olive oils, cakes, meats, relishes, beer, liqueurs and turkeys available to order for Christmas. There will also be stalls packed with household gifts, clothes and accessories, jewellery, toys, stationery, books, flowers, Christmas decorations and Christmas cards.
All proceeds go to North West Cancer Research and over the past 25 years more than £250,000 has been raised for the leading local cancer research charity.
Wirral Bazaar Chairwoman Jennie Corlett said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Wirral Bazaar and to be bringing it again to our new bigger venue at Thornton Manor.
“We had a wonderfully successful Bazaar last year with lots of visitors and raised over £33,000 for North West Cancer Research which is at the forefront of research into all types of cancer. This year there are more stalls than ever before making it a great way to start your Christmas shopping all under one roof.”
The event opens on Tuesday 3rd November 3pm – 8.30pm and also runs on Wednesday 4th November 9.30am – 3pm. Entry costs £4, although children are free.
