Successful fundraising morning at Boho 5
This morning the guys at Stripe4 hosted a coffee morning at Boho 5 in Middlesbrough to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
‘The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event which last year raised £25 million to provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, to those affected by cancer as well as campaigning for better cancer care.
The morning was a great success and we managed raise £100.43 for Macmillan whilst drinking coffee, eating delicious cakes and having a chat to our fab guests who ranged from Network North, Digital City Business, to local graphic designers and web companies, we even had a cardboard cut-out of Mary Berry which went down brilliantly.
We’d like to say a big thank you to all of our guests, you all donated very generously to a very worthy cause. We offer particular thanks to the guys at Digital City Business who did a fantastic job of spreading the word about our event, and were even kind enough to donate some lovely cakes!
Rosie Lawton of Stripe4 said “Macmillan is a fantastic cause and we were happy to be able to do our bit in raising money for them”.
Jessica Williams of Just Williams said “The team at DCB are proud to support and promote events like the MacMillan Coffee morning hosted by Stripe Four this morning throughout the Boho Zone. We are keen to encourage collaboration between the businesses and would like to thank
Stripe Four for their efforts in engaging with the tenants of both Boho One and Boho Five. This morning’s coffee morning was a great example of raising funds for a good cause in a collaborative manner led by our local entrepreneurs at Stripe Four“.
Thanks again to everyone who attended, you guys were great!
