Bid Writing Firm Expands After Continued Success

Newcastle-based bid and tender writing specialists Executive Compass® have experienced high levels of growth leading to the recruitment of two new writers, Charlotte Hilliard and Sam Baker.

The recruitment of new staff has come shortly following the move to new, larger offices which will enable the collective expertise of the bid-writing professionals to continue to guide businesses to successfully secure public and private sector contracts.

Celebrating its sixth year in business, Executive Compass’ Managing Director, Neil Capstick, said:

“The increase in staff and the move to Hoults Yard clearly demonstrates our intention to maintain our status as the UK’s number one independent bid writing company.“

The expert team provides support to a wide range of industries, from civil engineering and asbestos to domiciliary care and grounds maintenance. Over the years the company has completed PQQs and tenders for a range of unusual contracts, including tenders for the culling of deer, the cleaning of navy ships, nuclear decommissioning, dog warden services and the design and manufacture of a port service vessel.

Their proven bid processes and systems have led to an 87% success rate and an array of clients across the UK, Europe and the United States. Bid Writer Elliott Cook said:

Executive Compass specialise in writing bids for the public sector, but can also provide their services to firms bidding into the private sector, and offer review services and procurement advice to SMEs and larger ‘blue chip’ firms.

General Manager Matthew Walker is responsible alongside Managing Director Neil Capstick for the company’s stringent quality assurance process and oversees all PQQs and tenders. An expert in the field of health and social care, he said:
