North East entrepreneurial couple launch creative startup
Set up by North East entrepreneur Matt Hudson and his wife, Sonya Hudson, Jardine Fine Arts Limited aims to give artists a fair deal when selling their work.
Based in Wallsend, the creative startup currently employs five people and works alongside artists to ensure they get the best possible deal for their work on the market.
Having worked with Getmediawise Ltd, the Newcastle-based SEO and marketing experts, Matt and Sonya have developed a proven online strategy to reach a wide audience across the UK.
Speaking to Bdaily, Matt said: “We aim to get the word out to artists that they will get the best possible deal for their work by working with us.
“The people of the north east have a long history of north south divide and we thought it only right to work from here and supply to the south, all that we are passionate about.”
Jardine Fine Arts has just signed up Alexander Millar, one of the UK’s top contemporary artists, whose work is recognised around the world.
Matt continued: “Landing the Alexander Millar contract will see us achieving 4 national shows in the coming year and we hope to build our brand internationally, starting with New York in April 2016.
“The new themes and ideas that we are working with shall see Jardine Fine Art Limited gross over £1 million pounds this year, which will make some artists very happy indeed.
“We want to Jardine Fine Art to be seen as the trusted partner for all artists and art collectors.”
