Stewart signs up for ‘Business and Property’ Conference
One of the UK’s most popular economic commentators has been announced as the keynote speaker for QualitySolicitors Talbots’ Business and Property Conference next month.
Justin Urquhart Stewart, affectionately known as the ‘man with red braces’, will give his unique and often amusing take on the current state of the economy and trends we are likely to see in 2016.
The Head of Corporate Development at Seven Investment Management will be joined on stage by Peter Bolton King (Director of RICS), personal communication trainer Lorna Sheldon and four companies who will showcase how innovation has helped them grow.
More than 100 people have already signed up to be part of the annual event due to be held on October 6th at DRP Group’s 212 Ikon Estate in Droitwich.
In addition to an industry update, it is anticipated that the conference will also raise more than £1000 for the ‘Chris Westwood Charity for Children with Physical Disabilities’.
“Improved economic confidence has seen increased activity in the business and property sector and we wanted to bring our clients, partners and law professionals up to date with current and future trends,” explained Martyn Morgan, Director of QualitySolicitors Talbots.
“We are heading for our biggest ever conference and this is testimony to the quality of speakers we have managed to secure, with Justin’s irreverent style and Peter’s intimate knowledge of property sure to inform and challenge current thinking.
“There may even be a few announcements from ourselves about our expansion plans.”
QualitySolicitors Talbots, which will turnover £8m this year, has been in the West Midlands since 1828 and currently offers legal services from offices in Codsall, Dudley, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Stourport and Wolverhampton.
The firm offers high quality employment, property, personal legal advice and access to a growing business services team that covers corporate transactions, dispute and licensing law.
Martyn concluded: “It’s not too late to get involved as we still have a few spaces left. Entry is free, we just ask you buy a £10 raffle ticket with all proceeds going to our chosen charity.
“This is one of the biggest events on the legal calendar and our speaker line-up really is second to none.”
