Westgrove Group to create 300 jobs in Warrington
Cleaning and security firm Westgrove Group plans to create hundreds of jobs over the next 12 months with the support of Yorkshire Bank.
The Warrington-based company intends to add another 300 employees to its 1,500-strong team as it expands into new markets and regions in the coming year, utilising a funding package delivered by Yorkshire Bank relationship manager Stephen Cox and invoice finance partner Chris Pickles.
Simon Whittle, Westgrove Group’s co-chairman, said: “Our business has experienced strong organic growth since our launch in 1998 and we plan to continue moving forward, expanding into new geographies and sectors.
“Yorkshire Bank shares [our vision] for the business and we have developed a strong partnership over the past five years.”
The company is now in line to increase its turnover to £23m in the next 12 months, which would mark growth of 100% in the five years the firm has worked with Yorkshire Bank.
Sean Williams, Yorkshire Bank’s regional head, commented: “The Westgrove Group has been a Yorkshire Bank customer for more than five years and it’s great to play a pivotal role in helping them continue to invest.
“They are a prime example of yet another northern business experiencing tremendous growth and expanding into new regions and markets.”
He added: “The company demonstrates the incredibly important role enterprising businesses play in the North West in providing employment and contributing to the UK economy.”
