The eagerly anticipated Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round encounter between Oxford United and Swindon Town will have an extra attraction –the presence of the competition silverware.
The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy will be on display in the Manor Bar at the Kassam Stadium between 6pm and 7.30pm.
Supporters will be invited to have their picture taken with the trophy ahead of the game, which will see one team move into the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Southern Area Quarter-Finals and within four games of Wembley.
As part of the tenth year of sponsorship of the Football League Trophy by Johnstone’s Paint, the trophy will be on tour throughout the season.
Richard Mazurkiewicz, marketing manager of Johnstone’s Paint, said: “We are delighted to be taking the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy to one of the most eagerly anticipated games of round two.
