Cheshire Housebuilder Holds ‘How to Build a House’ Visit for Ryleys School’s Infants
Cheshire housebuilders, PH Homes, hosted an education day for local children from The Ryleys School, to its Alderley Edge development, Lynton Gardens, where a group of enthusiastic Year One pupils got to see first hand how a house is built.
As part of the school’s ‘Homes and Houses’ module, PH Homes invited the children to the Lynton Lane site to learn about contruction work and to take part in a selection of hands-on activities.
Wearing high visibility jackets and hard hats provided by PH Homes, the children saw how cement is made and took part in laying bricks as well as learning about safety on a construction site.
Said Year One teacher, Mr Taylor, “Our topic this term is ‘Houses and Homes’ and it has been a wonderful opportunity for the children to come and see how houses are built, as well as to ask many questions to those who design and construct the houses. PH Homes have been fantastic and have really helped bring the whole process to life.”
PH Homes’ Sales Director, Danny Gale, added, “We were delighted to welcome the children to Lynton Gardens to assist with their project. We are a local developer and understand the importance of getting involved with our surrounding community. They were so interested that we will happily have the children back to see the completed scheme at the end of the year.”
Lynton Gardens is an exclusive development of six four bedroomed houses within walking distance of Alderley Edge Village. PH Homes has already sold all plots off-plan prior to completion in January 2017.
