Senior Appointment Bolsters TIBCO’s EMEA Presence
Steve Hurn, a seasoned industry figure with a passion for promoting the cloud to empower people and organisations to work better together, has been appointed as TIBCO’s Senior Vice President of Sales, EMEA. Hurn is particularly well placed to both progress TIBCO’s EMEA business, and help customers and partners appreciate and understand the need for cloud and TIBCO’s Fast Data platform.
Prior to this appointment, Hurn was senior VP and general manager of cloud and line of business at SAP. Before that, he was CEO at Reevoo, and previously held executive positions at Oracle and Cramer Systems, where he was senior VP, global sales, before it was acquired by Amdocs in 2006. At TIBCO, one of his focuses will be cloud strategy, building on the momentum following the acquisition of API management leader Mashery, through which TIBCO is further expanding its SaaS-based integration capabilities.
