Bowcliffe Hall welcomes more business tenants following £6m revamp

Wetherby’s Bowcliffe Hall, the headquarters of the Bayford Group, has seen an increase in the number of business tenants moving into its refurbished office space, with the arrival of HIT Training.

The company has joined wealth strategist, Encore Wealth, recruitment solution specialist, Online Resourcing and property consultant practice, Fordy Marshall, at the Grade-II listed hall, following a £6m restoration.

Bowcliffe Hall is the former ancestral home of aviation pioneer, Robert Blackburn, who hosted world renowned guests there, including Winston Churchill and aircraft pioneer Amy Johnson.

The 200-year-old hall’s multi-phase refurbishment features the Blackburn Wing conference and event venue and a private members club for business tenants and guests.

David Rothera, HIT Training area manager, said: “Being a hospitality industry training provider, what more fitting base could we have than stunning Bowcliffe Hall, with its fantastic conferencing, events, meeting and wedding facilities. Standout venues for us are the Drivers Club and a tree house conference and event centre in the shape of an aircraft wing.”

Lucinda Jennings, Bowcliffe property & development director, commented: “While businesses are drawn to our unique setting as a location that makes the work experience a pleasure, there are many practical benefits too. As a venue for meetings, conferences and corporate events, the choice of facilities for businesses is unparalleled, while our wide range of services for them includes Pilates, car valeting and a running club.”
