New Appointment Visualises Furniture Ranges
Shackletons appoints Reese Bailey as a new product and visual designer to join the company’s expanding research and development team.
As an integral part of developing and visualising new furniture ranges Reese will be developing his creative and 3D modelling skills as well as helping the company’s clientele picture their chosen furniture schemes in situ before purchasing.
Reese comes to Shackletons from his previous role as development designer of point of sale items for Diam International in Loughborough. He will be using the latest 3D modelling software to visually represent innovative concepts and products ready for market.
Reese says: “Furniture design has always been of interest to me; during my A-levels I designed furniture for my major project and really enjoyed doing it. With the complex shapes of the products I thought it would be a great opportunity for me work at Shackletons to push my 3D modelling skills, whilst being able to design products for market. It’s a great sense of achievement seeing something you have helped design come to life!”
Shackletons have been in the business of creating comfort for over 50 years and are the UK’s leading design and manufacturer of specialist contract furniture for the healthcare sector.
