Regus Express hub to open at Hilton Watford

Regus to open new generation workplace in hotel

Regus, the global workspace provider, is to open one of its innovative Regus Express locations at the Hilton Watford Hotel on the M1. The new generation workplace, part of the growing Regus Express network, will be the first Regus Express facility to open in Watford.

The hub, which will open later this year, will complement the hotel’s existing range of meeting and conference facilities. It will feature a drop-in business lounge with individual workstations called Thinkpods, comfortable seating with laptop stands and phone chargers, as well as free, secure Wi-Fi and unlimited tea and coffee. Alongside, a suite of high specification meeting rooms seating four to six people will be available to book by the hour.

Conveniently located within close proximity of the M1 and M25 motorways, and just 20 miles from Heathrow Airport, the facility is expected to attract business travellers, local and national businesses looking for a convenient meeting point, home-workers seeking an alternative to working from home, as well as hotel guests.

The launch of Regus Express at Hilton Watford is part of a wider roll-out of Regus ‘third place’ locations around the UK. They are designed to offer the growing number of mobile workers a more flexible, cost-effective alternative to a traditional fixed office, and a more productive environment than a home office.

Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, comments: “We are delighted to be opening a Regus Express at Hilton Watford, and are confident that this latest site will prove popular with business travellers, mobile workers and local firms alike.

“This is our first Regus Express location in Watford and testifies to the area’s need for dedicated, flexible business spaces that meet the demands of today’s increasingly mobile workforce. As a company, we are committed to making modern business easier by continuing to add to our network of Express locations across the globe.”

The Regus Express network in Britain already covers motorway service areas, retail parks, shopping centres and airports.
