Global entrepreneur receives recognition as key influential woman
Global Entrepreneur, Growth Coach and HR Professional Olive Strachan, FCIPD has been recognised as one of the key female influencers in the North West region. Throughout the recession Olive has continued to expand her business – both regionally and internationally. Olive Strachan Resources has sustained business with outstanding training, coaching and most recently the introduction of ‘The Olive Branch’ comprising of delivering management and leadership development for professional women. Published by the Business Insider, The Inaugural Women of Influence list recognises the depth and diversity of the North West’s female business community comprising of women from a range of sectors including media, recruitment, professional services, hospitality, manufacturing and media and entrepreneurs from both the private and public sectors. Many high-profile and prestigious companies are represented in the lineup, including Nuffield Health, United Utilities, and KPMG. The accolade is a tribute to OSR’s global success in both the North West and beyond. The list was assembled by a selective committee of prominent business people from across the county and every woman who was elected was selected for her impact on North West business and her contribution to the world of commerce. This is yet another fantastic achievement for Olive who is also a member of the Professional Speakers Association. Olive is currently serving as the Head of the HR Leaders Forum and she is the Council Representative for The Chartered Institute of Personal Development (CIPD) Manchester Branch.
