Gary aims to wow businesses with regional growth
A MOTIVATIONAL mindset coach and trainer who set up his business three years ago - and now counts a premiership football club among his clients – has outlined plans to expand his business.
Gary Lavery, who lives in Peterlee, launched his company, Now to Wow, in 2012, specialising in a technique called Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) which helps people achieve greater results in all areas of life.
The 38-year-old dad-of-two has worked hard to establish his company and now he is reaping the rewards as more and more businesses or individuals are seeing the benefits of investing in NLP and personal development.
Gary successfully became a Certified Trainer of NLP in 2014, after spending 30 days in Hua-Hin, Thailand, under extreme exam conditions – after which he turned a dream into reality.
NLP is best regarded as - ‘an instructional manual of the mind’ - that helps people create the best version of themselves.
It’s based upon a range of personal development techniques, which allows individuals to let go of their issues and become more accountable for their future results and behaviour by adopting a more proactive mindset.
Gary said: “I want to reach out to those individuals, who are serious about making positive changes in both their personal and professional lives.
“NLP changed my life and it can do the same of others.”
Alongside delivering Certified NLP Training courses in the North East of England, Gary also provides a private 1-2-1 coaching and development service for those individuals who need that extra support in life.
“In the past, I have worked with people presenting problems such as lack of self-confidence, low self-belief or dealing with fear and phobias.”
As well as a range of businesses around the region, Gary has worked with a number of athletes, players and coaches from different sports - at professional and amateur levels.
And now Gary is ready to take Now to Wow to the next level – and hopes to recruit staff as the business grows and develops further.
Gary, who worked as a training consultant for a 4G mobile phone brand for 16 years before becoming self-employed, said: “I’m really proud of how much the business has grown and become more established.
“I am equally as pleased to see my clients and students now achieving great results”.
Gary is now aiming to practice what he preaches by chasing his dream of expanding Now to Wow.
“I am planning on recruiting staff and taking the business to the next level,” he said. “I want to grow the business portfolio and do more public speaking to really get the message across that there are real benefits to NLP.
“I believe I am the proof that you can turn your dreams into reality, and if you believe in yourself then you can make anything happen in life.”
