Harrogate’s Redcentric sees stable growth following Calyx acquisition

IT managed services provider, Redcentric has reported stable revenue and profit growth in its first interim results since the acquisition of Manchester’s Calyx Group in April.

The Harrogate firm saw revenue increase 15 per cent to £54m for the six months ending 30 September, while adjusted pretax profit rose by 22 per cent to £5m.

Following the acquisition of Calyx and the securing of new bank facilities in April 2015, Redcentric’s net bank debt has increased to £16.5m from £4.8m.

The company has won a number of significant new contracts in the period, including a £3.5m deal with the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC)

Fraser Fisher, the newly-appointed CEO of Redcentric remains optimistic about the company’s position in the marketplace, he said: “Redcentric has continued to perform well in the first half, with some very impressive contract wins, good sales momentum and the successful integration of Calyx.

“Our focus continues to be on growing our recurring revenue base by providing our customers with market leading services, allowing them to concentrate on their core business.”
