Northumberland ‘mumpreneur’ partners with international brand to launch own business

Headed up by Northumberland entrepreneur Victoria Anderson, Well Rounded You aims to support women in creating a better life for themselves, their families and to support personal social interests & causes - through entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.

Victoria discovered Arbonne, the health and beauty brand, after coming out of a difficult time bringing up children. She admits she lost her identity and confidence: “Since having children, I placed a higher value on being financially independent and secure and was looking for a way that I could get all of this back, whilst also maintaining a balance between work and family.”

Two years later, Victoria now runs a successful Arbonne business and received a host of mentoring, support and coaching that has really helped her grow the business into what it has become.

Victoria currently operates two businesses - Art Evolution & Arbonne - and has found that as a busy business owner, you can neglect yourself. Arbonne has helped her develop a renewed love & passion for personal and professional development.

Victoria continued: “From this, Well Rounded You was born, to pass on all of this information & support to other women who are looking for a way to create a better life for themselves, their families and to support personal social interests & causes - through entrepreneurship.

“Because of starting my own businesses, and the vehicle of support through Arbonne, I have developed business confidence (presentations in front of hundreds of people), a vehicle to support myself and my family, and new passion for life and the balance I have developed between work and family life.”

The business is focussed around mentoring and professional development of women who are looking to create a more well rounded lifestyle.

Within this, offer mentoring programmes that support and develop key skill sets needed to be successful in running a business.

Victoria added: “An additional USP is utilising the Arbonne network to actually provide a vehicle for these women to fully develop their entrepreneurial mindsets and generate sustainable income. Essentially this is a real-life education programme.”

Next year, Victoria hopes to keep developing her company while maintaining a good work life balance, she concluded: “To help more women like me - who have lost their vision, either through taking time out to raise a family, or have become entwined in a 60 hour a week career that leaves little time for any sort of life balance. “
