M62 link drives new Kier development
A joint venture set up between Kier Property, Maple Grove and Yorvale to develop and build B2, B8 industrial and warehouse space at Wakefield Europort has reached practical completion.
The completed scheme, known as Tri-Link 140, comprises a 142,000sq ft facility incorporating 135,000sq ft of warehouse accommodation with 1,000sq ft of office/reception at ground floor level and 6,000sq ft of office space on the first floor.
Situated just one minute from J31 of the M62, the site is already an established flagship industrial hub offering high quality buildings in a highly accessible and strategic motorway location.
The site also benefits from European Rail Freight access through the Europort Freight Terminal and is home to many well-known occupiers including DHL, Haribo, Argos, Booker and Debenhams.
Funding for the speculative unit was provided by Investec. Kier Property has a well-established relationship with Investec and this represents a furthering of this successful partnership.
