Blackbox wins Samsung Smart Print Partner award
Kent’s leading office technology business, Blackbox Solutions has been presented with Samsung’s Smart Print Partner of the Year award at FutureScape 2015 – Samsung’s annual showcase event.
Blackbox Solutions has been working with Samsung for less than two years as its sole business partner for Managed Print Solutions. Having built its business around the principle of giving its clients the highest standards of experience and care, backed by 12 administration, solution and technical specialists, the company has gone from a turnover of zero to £1.6m in 18 months.
Mark Ash, Head of Print, Samsung, said: “Blackbox Solutions has been working with us for around two years and has highlighted what can be achieved with a little bit of passion and hard work.”
Although not Blackbox Solutions’ lead product, they have fully embraced the MX series Android technology, to help them to separate themselves from the local competition, and have already had more than 100 MX4 installations and a dozen MX7 sales this year.
Colin Griffin, Managing Director at Blackbox Solutions, said: “We are delighted to have been named Samsung Electronics’ Smart Print Partner of the Year. Through our partnership with Samsung Electronics we are able to provide our customers with the highest quality range of multi-functional devices, which we underpin with the highest quality customer care and support.
“It is this combination of the very best in products and delivery that has allowed us to double in size each year since launching in 2012 and expand across the South East. We look forward to continuing to work closely with Samsung Electronics for many years to come.”
Blackbox Solutions recently announced its move to a larger headquarters. The property in Medway Street, Maidstone will accommodate the company’s servicing and client support staff and also include drop-in print, scan and copy services. The offices are undergoing a major re-fit and are expected to be completed next month.
