QualitySolicitors Talbots invests in ‘Codsall' office
QualitySolicitors Talbots has reinforced its commitment to South Staffordshire by refurbishing its Codsall office and appointing two new legal specialists.
The independent law firm, with seven offices across the Black Country and Worcestershire, has invested in the introduction of new computer systems and providing its Station Road premises with a modern makeover.
It marks the company’s five-year anniversary in the village and comes as part of ambitious expansion plans that will see it handle a 25% increase in business over the next twelve months.
As part of this drive, QualitySolicitors Talbots has expanded its local team to seven staff with the appointment of James Wright and Rebecca McMullan, specialists in family and property law respectively.
“We believe that our clients shouldn’t have to travel miles to a big city or town to get the legal advice they need,” explained Martyn Morgan, Director.
“Codsall epitomises that approach, with its own self-contained team able to take on sizable conveyancing, family and trusts and estates law. It is also be supported by our network of offices to provide clients and SMEs with specialist business, employment and litigation advice.”
He went on to add: “The office has been brought up to date with our modern branding and we’ve also installed new telephone and computer systems that improves the entire client journey.
“We are proud to be the only lawyers in Codsall and believe this latest investment will show people we intend to be here for a very long time.”
James Wright is an expert in the financial aspects of divorce and separation and arrives at the firm after relocating to Wolverhampton from Yorkshire earlier this year.
A graduate from Huddersfield University, he has been accredited by Resolution as a specialist family lawyer and has built a reputation for advising on pre and post-nuptial agreements.
Paralegal Rebecca McMullan is the other new recruit and she will use her local knowledge to support hundreds of property cases every year.
The duo join Melanie Blackburn at the Codsall office, where the experienced Director has spent the last three years working with clients on wills, probate and intestacy, trusts, inheritance tax and powers of attorney.
She is a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly, a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and also has a proven track record of working with individuals who may be suffering from dementia.
Melanie concluded: “We get to know and build relationships with our clients, dealing with sensitive issues in a way that minimises stress and inconvenience.
“The new Codsall team is looking great and we’ve got the administrative capabilities to support some of the best lawyers in the business.”
QualitySolicitors Talbots has been in the West Midlands since 1828 and currently offers legal services from offices in Dudley, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Stourport and Wolverhampton.
