Mitchells, who are based on Saltergate in Chesterfield, has reported a rise in turnover in 2015 with an underlying year-on-year increase of more than 10 per cent. It is also reporting a volume of new clients this year unlike anything it has experienced since 2008.
Hari Mehta, Lindsey Paradise, Holly Fleming, Jane Gregory, Thomas Hardy and James Layton have joined Mitchells, increasing staff numbers at the firm by 15%.
Richard Trueman, Managing Partner said: “We are taking on more clients and growing year-on-year so we’ve attracted some fantastic new talent helping us further strengthen the team across all departments.
“Mitchells is a proud investor in people and recognise that staff are at the heart of the business and we make it our priority to develop talent from within. Partner Tony Hornsby joined Mitchells 20 years ago on an undergraduate placement. He is proof that investing and retaining staff is a core principal within the business and enables us to deliver the best possible advice and service to clients.”

As well as providing specialist grants and finance advice in his new role he will also drive Mitchells’ Auto Enrolment services.
Commenting on his appointment Hari said: “Mitchells is an ethical company which is long established with ambitious growth plans. The enthusiasm, honesty and integrity shown by the team in dealing with their clients attracted me to both the role and firm.”
He is joined by Lindsey Paradise (32) from Pilsley in Chesterfield, who has been appointed as a Client Manager within Corporate Services. Lindsey makes the move from one of the top five accountancy firms in the UK and holds the honour of recently receiving an award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) for the highest mark in the case study exam paper in the Yorkshire region.
