North West cosmetics firm secures US and European export deals
Faith in Nature, a beauty and cosmetics manufacturer based in Manchester, is aiming to grow its export business after securing new deals in the US and Western Europe.
The firm’s export business grew by 20% this year, compared to 13% last year, after increasing exports to Ireland and selling its own-label product range in Portugal.
The European deal, which covers the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, will see Faith in Nature providing health food chain Holland & Barrett with products from its latest gifting range.
The US contract, meanwhile, will see the firm supplying the Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover and Stop & Shop New England chains, which collectively comprise close to 600 stores.
Faith in Nature MD Joy Parkinson said of the deals: “Our products are hugely popular across many export territories but it’s always exciting to explore new areas of opportunity.
“The popularity of our products bears testament to the interest in natural products.”
She added: “We are particularly pleased to be breaking into the United States, after all, this is where the whole natural, organic movement began.”
Now, Faith in Nature is set to enter the lucrative Chinese market after opening talks with a distributor in China.
