Taylor&Emmet rebrands Bakewell office

Sheffield solicitors, Taylor&Emmet LLP, will be changing the name of its Bakewell office – currently known as Cockertons – in the New Year.

From January 4, the Peak District branch will carry the Taylor&Emmet signage to complete its integration with the rest of the firm.

The merger of Bakewell stalwart, Cockertons, with Taylor&Emmet two years ago, has already increased the range of legal services available to the town’s residents and businesses. The firm is now introducing new branding to strengthen its identity in Derbyshire, creating clear links with other offices in Sheffield and Dronfield.

Anthony Long, Taylor&Emmet’s chief executive, said: “Local people have welcomed the changes made at Cockertons since our merger and clearly enjoy meeting with solicitors from a wider range of disciplines in such a convenient location. The existing Bakewell team, led by partner, Richard Kay, will continue to deliver the high standards of advice and customer care for which it is renowned – adopting the Taylor&Emmet name is simply the final piece of the jigsaw.”

To complement the arrival of new signage, alterations are being made to Taylor&Emmet’s Bridge Street premises, improving customer access and the working environment.
