Artimondo Launches New Website Design For Christmas
Artimondo, the online store for Italian and global artisan goodies has launched a new website to coincide with the 20th anniversary of “Artigiano in Fiera” which is now open in Milan.
The site has a new look and feel for the festive season as well as an upgraded platform. The site has also been made faster to deal with the rapidly growing traffic as the amount of artisan products increases on a daily basis.
Now, UK shoppers can search products from artisans by territory and select food produce and craft items by Italian region. The feature is already proving popular with foodies looking for high quality merchandise from premium Italian producers.
In time for Christmas, visitors to the site can use the ‘Gift Finder’ feature to find inspiration for seasonal gifts. The ‘Gift Finder’ allows shoppers to choose from over 10,000 products quickly and easily. Once a gift has been chosen, a gift message can be written for a personalised touch.
Artigiano in Fiera in twenty years: the figures. The event, organised by Ge.Fi. - Gestione Fiere Spa, was first held in 1996, slowly becoming one of the social and cultural events most appreciated by the greater public. In all its 184 days, the trade show has allowed more than 24 million visitors to take an idealistic journey through the traditions of the world. The great general consensus is largely owing to the encounters with roughly 17,000 exhibitors over the last twenty years: artisans from all corners of the earth that have brought their customs and costumes to Milan from 146 different countries.
“Artigiano in Fiera continues to assume the semblance of a global village of trades, arts and human culture,” declared the president of Ge.Fi. - Gestione Fiere Spa, Antonio Intiglietta. “The event has offered people the possibility to enter into direct contact with hundreds of different countries through the faces, stories and experiences of men and women. The stars of the show however remain the artisans, who in seeking to create something unique and original for themselves and others, generate a true sense of amazement.”
