Bolton firm KBS Corporate establishes finance academy
KBS Corporate is hoping to train and recruit the next generation of corporate finance gurus with the launch of a new academy.
The Bolton-based firm, which works to find domestic and overseas buyers for owner-managed businesses, has teamed up with several universities to offer placements for graduates.
As part of the programme, every year four graduates will work at KBS Corporate for 12-months, after which two will be offered permanent positions at the company and the chance to obtain further qualifications in accountancy and corporate finance.
The chief executive at KBS Corporate, John Rigby, said: “We are looking for bright, ambitious undergraduates who want to pursue a corporate finance career.
“At KBS Corporate, we believe in nurturing homegrown talent and give individuals the opportunity to progress quickly through the ranks.”
He added: “The undergraduates in the academy will gain invaluable experience and insight into the corporate finance world and get a head start in this dynamic industry.”
In launching the academy, KBS Corporate joined forces with a number of universities, including Loughborough University, Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Liverpool.
Last month, the firm acquired the 51,000 sq ft Springfield Court office building in Bolton as part of a seven-figure investment.
