Soaring sales send turnover through the Roofco
Rooftop safety specialist, Roofco, is starting 2016 on a high after unprecedented interest in its flagship guardrail system has increased turnover by 171 per cent in two years.
The Sheffield-based distributor of high performance roofing systems is confident this sales momentum will continue at a similar rate as new enquiries and repeat orders remain buoyant.
Key to the firm’s recent success is the freestanding version of its Rhinorail guardrail, which is popular with working at height contractors, commercial developers and architects, as it does not penetrate the roof and is quick and easy to install.
Will Martin, Roofco’s project engineer, said: “There is no doubt the construction industry generally is gathering pace and we are capitalising on this return to form. However, rooftop safety is a competitive market and I believe it is the cost effective nature of the Rhinorail system, combined with our product knowledge and expertise, that is driving this rapid increase in sales. I am confident we can continue to grow at a similar rate again next year and look forward to further developing our brand and reputation.”
Roofco equipment is installed across the UK at power stations, universities, schools, hospitals, apartment blocks and supermarkets. It also designs bespoke access systems for private residences and offers project management, waterproofing systems and roofing accessories.
