Oldham aerosol manufacturer targets growth with system overhaul
James Briggs, the chemicals and aerosol manufacturer, is targeting accelerated growth in 2016 after rolling out new enterprise resource planning software.
The Oldham-based firm, which reported triple-figure growth in October, expects to unlock greater functionality across its customer service, operations and supply chain management after introducing Syspro across the business.
Looking ahead, the company has forecast the software to increase its ability to strategically map out both short- and long-term growth plans.
James Briggs’ CEO, Tim Pugh, said of the rollout: “Whilst we’ve announced a raft of new partnerships and distribution deals in the last 12 months, behind the scenes we have been quietly upgrading our core processes to support current and future expansion.
“The introduction of this new software will be a major enabler for our growth, improving the way we work with our clients as well as our internal operations.”
He added: “We’re on an extremely exciting growth trajectory and the greater capabilities we expect to enjoy from this change to our processes will have an unprecedented influence on the future of the business.”
The rollout of the Syspro software follows a deal signed last September that saw James Briggs enter the Irish automotive market for the first time.
