RSM becomes newest member of Team Humber Marine Alliance
RSM, the audit, tax and consulting firm based at Humber Quays in Hull, has become the latest member of Team Humber Marine Alliance.
The business development organisation, also based in Hull, represents more than 200 companies working in the marine and offshore sectors, promoting the skills and expertise of its members regionally, nationally and globally.
In addition, Team Humber Marine Alliance provides expert advice, forms collaborations with different companies on joint ventures and supply chain opportunities, lobbies the government and represents members at UK and European conferences and exhibitions.
The organisation, which hosts and organises numerous events throughout the year, including the Offshore Wind Connections conference, has also become a driving force in the Humber’s growth as an offshore wind player.
Andy Capes, office managing partner at RSM in Hull, said: “Our firm has a proud history of supporting firms in the marine and offshore sectors and we have been right behind the drive for the Humber region to establish itself as a key hub for the offshore wind sector. The recent Paris climate change conference is going to refocus energies internationally on reducing carbon emissions and the businesses here in the Humber region are well placed to assist in that effort.”
Mark O’Reilly, Team Humber Marine Alliance CEO, added: “We are delighted to welcome RSM as a member of the Alliance. Their strong track record in supporting businesses in the marine and offshore sectors, both in the UK and internationally, will be incredibly valuable to our members and will help further the wider aims of the organisation.”
