Woods Squared Announce New Appointments
Wirral accountants, Woods Squared, appointed three new employees to their team at the end of 2015, to top off what had been an extremely successful year for the firm.
Woods Squared, who grew its turnover by 20% in 2014 and was named Accountancy Firm of the Year at the 2020 awards in October as well as being shortlisted for two awards at the Wirral Business Awards has, according to Director, Alan Woods, seen a ‘huge organic growth’ over the last 12 months.
“We’re delighted to welcome on board Cheryl Fynney, who is a qualified accountant and joins us from Moore Smalley as client manager, Jack Martin who joins us as a trainee accountant and Chrissie Smith who has been appointed as an accounts professional, both joining us from Stonebridge Stewart” said Alan.
“2015 was a really strong year for the firm, and we’ve been able to create these new employment opportunities as a result of a substantial increase in the number of new clients. As we continue to grow, its essential that we continue to attract quality candidates, to ensure that our clients still benefit from our extremely tailored and personal service.”
Speaking about her appointment Cheryl Fynney commented: “‘The key to a great company is one which provides you with lots of stimulus, encouragement and makes you feel like an integral part of the company’s mission. As soon as I met the Directors of Woods Squared I instantly knew I wanted to be part of the team. Woods Squared has a fantastic team which uplifts you and makes you want to strive for the best.”
Alan added: “I’m excited to welcome Cheryl, Jack and Chrissie on board as I know that they will be great additions to our experienced team. They will enable us to continue in our work helping our ambitious, entrepreneurial clients to grow this year. 2015 was a phenomenal year for us as a firm and now with our strengthened team we’re focused on making 2016 our best year yet.”
