Hendy Group honours top performing staff
Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling together with football legends Matt Le Tissier and Alan McLoughlin provided a sporting backdrop to the 2015 Hendy Sales Awards.
The south coast automotive giant honoured top performing sales and administration staff at the awards evening where managing director Paul Hendy paid tribute to the teamwork of everyone who had contributed to a successful year for the company.
The Team of the Year award was presented to Ford CV sales which is also the top sales team in the Ford CV network nationally for new and used cars.
There were individual awards for Honda Salesperson of the Year for Trevor Swatton, Kia Salesperson of the Year Andy Barrow and Mazda Salesperson of the year David Steward.
Honours for Ford Salesperson of the Year went to Greg Wilson and Motability Salesperson of the Year was Lee Harris.
Business Salesperson of the Year was Sophia Hughes while Lewis Bailey picked up the award for Commercial Vehicle Salesperson of the Year.
There were also awards for those working in the used car division of the group with 17 sales staff recognised for selling more than 200 cars each and Used Car Salesperson of the Year was named as Steve Swash who wins for the second year running.
There was also a special award on the night for sales director Andy Stevenson who was inducted into the Hendy Group Hall of Fame for his 21 years’ service with the group. Paul Hendy said Andy has been a driving force within the company and this award recognised his invaluable contribution to the success of the Hendy Group.
