KC Communications Appointed to Undertake Global Marketing Strategy

Huddersfield marketing, PR and social media consultancy, KC Communications has been appointed by Hornsea based security manufacturer, Heald Ltd to expand their global PR and marketing strategy.

One of the leaders in their field, Heald design, manufacture and install a range of award winning vehicle mitigation systems that are distributed worldwide. Products include bollards, road-blockers and barriers that aim to prevent criminal organisations from carrying out targeted attacks on high profile sites such as embassies, airports and shopping centres.

The contract will see KC Communications taking care of Heald’s full PR and marketing remit. Already the partnership has seen Heald obtain the ability to use the ‘Made in Britain’ marque which enables Heald to showcase that their full suite of products are designed and manufactured in Britain, which is a key USP for the business along with Managing Director, Debbie Heald being nominated for two Northern Power Women Awards.

Both MD’s, Debbie Heald and Katrina Cliffe were shortlisted for various categories in the Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards last year in Newcastle, where they met and forged a strong business relationship.

The latest appointment for Lindley based KC Communications follows a successful year in business for the local marketing consultancy, which was set up in 2014 by Managing Director Katrina Cliffe.

The company also recently secured a contract with Huddersfield Community Trust who operate a number of services from it’s location at The Zone. It also has a number of other new business opportunities in the pipeline and is actively looking to recruit an apprentice later this year in order to fulfil client demand.
