Accountancy firm Hentons expand into corporate SME market with acquisition
Yorkshire accountancy firm Hentons has acquired Rawlinsons Chartered Accountants with an aim of strengthen its position in the mid-corporate SME market.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, adds a diverse client base and brings specialists in the corporate sector.
Nadeem Ahmed, managing partner at Hentons, said: “Rawlinsons is a firm with a long history and great reputation in the Yorkshire business community. This move will benefit both firms’ clients by widening the ranges of services and depth of talent available.”
Hentons associate partner Pav Bagri will work with Richard Hayter to lead the new client portfolio. The existing team from Rawlinsons will also join Hentons.

Hentons has a team of 60 who work with a wide range of businesses from medical professionals and property investors, to manufacturers, academies and charities. It offers accounts, audit, business strategy and tax planning services with a partner led approach for all its clients.
