Cheshire firm secures deal with Street Fighter creator CAPCOM
A company in Cheshire that creates collections of limited edition art for brands all over the world has signed a multi-year licensing deal with CAPCOM, the international games publisher and developer.
As part of the deal, Holmes Chapel-based Iron Gut will produce a new art collection featuring characters and branding from some of CAPCOM’s biggest games, which includes the Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Megaman and Street Fighter franchises.
The company’s MD, Anthony Marks, said: “2017 is the 30th anniversary of Street fighter, from arcade classic to modern day juggernaut, Street Fighter is one of the most popular and iconic videogame franchises of all time and we will be organising an art exhibition with art galleries that will generate additional press and public interest in the brand on the run up to the anniversary.”
Iron Gut plans to release the collection to coincide with the launch date of CAPCOM’s upcoming Street Fighter V on February 16.
