Designer fragrance brand to open London flagship store
Shaftesbury has announced that New York designer fragrance brand Le Labo is to open its flagship store in London’s West End.
The store, which is due to open at 48 Monmouth Street, Seven Dials, joins two other Le Labo stores in the capital and a further 13 worldwide in cities such as New York, Paris and Tokyo.
Their 610 sq ft boutique, which is to be spread over two floors, will open in May and joins a raft of recent retail openings at Monmouth Street that includes Fresh, Club Monaco and Natural Selection.
On the news, Charles Owen, Portfolio Executive at Shaftesbury, commented: “Le Labo adds another fantastic international concept store to the line-up and secures Seven Dials as London’s go to destination for unmatched premium designer fashion and beauty brands.”
Co-founder of Le Labo, Eddie Roschi, echoed Charles’s sentiments adding: “Shaftesbury’s support of creative and holistic brands was a key attraction and Monmouth Street is so well positioned, attracting a high footfall of both local and international visitors.
He continued: “Our brand ethos has a true affinity with the area and Seven Dials was the logical next step to expand our brand in the capital.”
JLL and Shackleton acted for Shaftesbury while Twenty Retail represented Le Labo in the deal.
