Global digital marketing firm expands into York customer service building
International digital marketing services company, Webcertain, has leased a further 6,000 sq ft high quality office building at Northminster Business Park, Poppleton, York to accommodate its expanding customer services team.
Founded by CEO, Andy Atkins-Kruger, Webcertain delivers global online marketing services to global brands in the US, Europe and Asia. The firm’s in-house team of nationals from all over the world speak 44 languages, delivering centralised services and access to online markets around the world.
Webcertain has had a base at Northminster Business Park for over 10 years and occupies 3 other adjacent properties housing its marketing linguistics, marketing translation and 24-7 online marketing TV channel - Webcertain.TV. The firm also has bases in Barcelona, Spain and in Beijing, China as well as in several other European cities.
Webcertain delivers global online marketing services to established names such as Xerox, Survey Monkey and leading Russian search engine Yandex.
The multilingual services offered cover content marketing, search engine optimisation, social media and pay per click as well as translation, training and website development and management.
The firm also has a number of subscription services covering know-how, elearning, analytics, hosting and content management.
Andy said: “We look for quality of life for our staff and both York and Barcelona offer that in droves - it makes a big difference when you’re recruiting staff from all over the world, speaking many different languages, to be able to offer them that. Our locations are also chosen to help keep our services competitive - don’t expect a Webcertain office in the centre of a major capital any time soon.”
“We originally selected Northminster Business Park for its quality environment, great high-tech buildings and easy access for staff from York, Harrogate and Leeds and that remains true today.”
Richard Flanagan of Flanagan James Property Consultants in York, who advised Caenby Ltd, the owners of Acer House, commented: “We are pleased to have been able to assist Caenby in agreeing a new lease of this high quality office building to Webcertain. The negotiations and legal process were undertaken quickly and efficiently, thanks to the efforts of all parties concerned.”
